All classroom reservations (including Canaday 315 and Carpenter B15, 17, 19, 21, 23) and most of the group study rooms in Park are handled through Conferences and Events. Classrooms are locked except when classes are scheduled and shouldn't be used unless you've reserved the space (this ensures the classrooms are ready for the instructors).

To reserve a classroom for a meeting or an event, use the Conferences and Events EMS reservation system. Plan ahead: you must do this 24 hours in advance.

There are rooms that don't require EMS reservations and can be used with less than 24 hour notice: Canaday 311 (ask at circulation desk in Canaday). Collier Study Rooms (see the Individual Study Room reservations and Group Study reservations). There are no group or individual study rooms in Carpenter Library.

Drinks are only allowed in spill-proof containers, and food is not allowed in the libraries except in the Lusty Cup in Canaday.
