Yes! Film screenings by clubs or any group of people outside of a regularly scheduled class need to obtain and pay the copyright holder for a public performance license. Student groups should contact the Student Engagement Office for more information. Faculty may contact Arleen Zimmerle (Humanities & Media Librarian) for assistance in locating the organization that can provide licensing. Some library videos already come with public performance rights. Please email Arleen Zimmerle for more information.
